Heather Mulholland is our company director. She has been in the wedding industry since she was 18, working in the bar. At this young age she fell in love with the excitement of the energy of each wedding and enjoyed the diversity of the industry.

Heather then embarked on her university career, studying for a degree in Hotel and Catering management. During this time she could not stay away from her love for the wedding industry. She continued to work at one of the local hotel as part of the wedding service team.

Heather graduated, with her degree, in 1999 and embarked on a career in hospitality. She gained skills such as budget control and customer service. However the draw of the wedding industry was too much and Heather found herself being drawn to employment in the events industry.

She started work with an out side catering company. Through this she has gained a great deal of knowledge regarding different wedding venues available, the problems that they may present and how to over come these. She ran many different type of events in some very different venues, including castles, estate houses and even factories. She has also obtained a great deal of contacts within the venue sector.

After gaining an extensive knowledge of wedding venues available in Scotland, Heather then became an Operation Manager with one of the larger Hotels in Glasgow. In this role she gained the skills involved in constructing supplier list and the finer point of event planning. She also over saw countless events. Heather then decided to start a family and stepped out of the event indusrty. After a very short time Heather found the pull to great and in 2005 created Happy Ever After. Armed with the knowledge and skills she gained in the Hospitality and events industry she has helped many couples design and create the day of their dreams! She takes a personal interest in all her clients and is on hand to help with any problem. Weddings truly are her passion!
